A full music studio. In your browser.

Music Studio is the FOTOhub music studio that runs in a browser tab. A multi-track timeline, a mixer with group and return buses, mastering, stem separation and AI right on the timeline. Nothing to install.

One song, eight tracks

A real project arranged in Music Studio: vocals, drums, bass, guitar, keys, a vinyl texture, effects and a voice line on their own tracks, with markers, a loop region and snapping to the grid.

Mix it yourself

Press play and every stem of the demo runs in sync. Move the faders, mute the drums or solo the vocals; the full mixer in the studio adds groups, return buses and pre or post sends.

Split any track

Separate a song into 2, 4 or 6 stems: vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and the rest. Each stem lands as a new track in your project.

AI next to the clip

Generate music, sound effects and voice straight onto a track. Repaint a passage, extend a clip, clean up dialogue, clone a voice from a clip or turn speech into markers.

Master it, then export

Seven mastering presets with a live loudness reading and A/B compare, then WAV, MP3, FLAC, AAC or OGG at 44.1, 48 or 96 kHz. Export the mix, or bounce it to a clip.

Render and GPU tools

On every paid plan, rendering, stems, mastering and clip effects on our own GPUs use no credits. Generations with partner engines use credits on every plan.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install anything?
No. Music Studio runs in a browser tab. Projects save to your FOTOhub account, and WAV export runs right in the browser.
Which formats can I export?
WAV, MP3, FLAC, AAC and OGG, at 44.1, 48 or 96 kHz. Export the whole project, a selection or the loop region, as one mix or bounced to a clip, with loudness normalisation if you want it.
Can I bring my own recordings?
Yes. Drag audio files onto the studio or pick them from disk; they go into your library and onto the timeline. You can also record from your microphone straight onto a track.
Do stems and mastering cost credits?
From Starter up, rendering, stem separation, mastering and clip effects on our own GPUs are included in your plan. On the free plan a render costs 1 credit (2 above 120 seconds), stems 2 credits (4 above 120 seconds) and mastering 1 credit. WAV export in the browser uses no credits on any plan.
Do I have to use AI?
No. You can build a whole track from your own recordings and files. AI generation is there when you want it, right on the timeline.
How loud should my master be?
For streaming, normalise the export to -14 LUFS; for podcasts, to -16 LUFS. The export also offers -23 LUFS or a target of your own. While you work, the Master tab shows loudness and a spectrum live, and A/B compares the master with the original.
Does the export sound like the playback?
Yes. Playback and export use the same mix: automation, groups, return buses and fades end up in the file the way you hear them.
What can't it do yet?
There is no MIDI and there are no virtual instruments. The metronome plays while you work but is not in the exported file. Two people cannot edit one project at the same time, projects cannot be shared yet, and clips can be duplicated but not copied and pasted.
