FOTOhub vs Kling AI: buy one model, or the catalogue it sits in
This comparison is unusual, because Kling is also one of our suppliers: Kling video models are part of FOTOhub's video catalogue, alongside ten other providers. So the question is not which model is better — it is whether you want a subscription to one vendor or per-second access to 55 video models on one balance. Kling is also the cheapest entry plan in this audit, and we say where that wins.

Cheapest paid plan at list price, monthly billing, as published by each vendor in 07 / 2026. "Partly" means limited, higher-tier only, or sold as a separate product. Coverage describes what Kling AI and FOTOhub ship, not how good the output is — that is a judgement only you can make. Prices change: check Kling AI's own pricing page and ours at /public_prices before you buy.
Where buying Kling directly is the better deal
Kling AI has the lowest entry price in this audit at $6.49, and if Kling is the only model you use, a subscription straight from the source is the simpler and usually the cheaper way to buy it — you are not paying an intermediary. Kling image generation is another reason to go direct: in our image studio the Kling image models are listed as coming soon, not available.
What the catalogue adds around it
Inside FOTOhub the same prompt or still can go to a Kling video model or to one from another provider, and you keep whichever shot worked — no second subscription, no separate balance. Video is billed by the second from 0.1 credit with the price on screen before the render starts, so a throwaway draft costs a fraction of a final shot rather than a slot in a monthly quota.
Sound, captions and delivery
A generated clip is not a finished piece of content. On the same account and the same credits FOTOhub adds generated music from 1.7 credits a minute, narration, sound design against the picture, lip-sync, captions burned to frame, vertical formats for shorts and UGC, and delivery to a client gallery or a shop listing.
One API instead of one account per vendor
Everything is reachable over a REST API with Python and TypeScript SDKs, webhooks on job completion, a CLI and an MCP server, so a pipeline talks to one endpoint and one key rather than integrating each provider separately. Jobs finish server-side after you close the tab, and the results land in the same library the studios read from.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I use Kling models inside FOTOhub?
- Kling video models are part of the video catalogue and are priced per second on /public_prices. Kling image models are marked coming soon in the image studio. Availability of any third-party model depends on its provider and can change, so the studio shows the current status of each model at the point where you pick one.
- Is FOTOhub cheaper than Kling AI?
- Not at the entry plan: $6.49 against our $8 at the list prices we audited. The comparison changes when the same balance also has to cover images, music, narration and API calls, or when you want several video providers without several subscriptions.
- How long can a generated clip be?
- Duration and resolution limits belong to each model, not to the platform, so the studio lists the allowed lengths per model and prices the seconds you ask for. Longer pieces are usually built by generating shots and joining them in the editor.
- Can I start from a photo?
- Yes — image-to-video is supported on the models that offer it, and you can generate the still in the image studio and send it to video without downloading anything in between.
