FOTOhub Deepens Partnership with Amazon Web Services to Scale Creative OS Globally

FOTOhub, Powered by AWS, Accelerates Its Vision as a Creative Operating System

FOTOhub today announces a deepened strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the company enters its next phase of growth. As an AWS Portfolio Company, FOTOhub is expanding its use of AWS infrastructure to power what the team calls a "Creative OS" — a unified platform where creators, agencies, and enterprises generate, manage, and distribute multimedia content using over 200 AI models through a single interface.

The partnership extends across compute, storage, AI services, and go-to-market support. FOTOhub now runs its entire production infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services including Amazon Bedrock for foundation model access, EC2 GPU instances for self-hosted inference, S3 for scalable object storage, and CloudFront for global content delivery.

Why AWS

The decision to build exclusively on AWS was driven by three factors: reliability, breadth of AI services, and global reach.

"We evaluated every major cloud provider over the past year," said Mateusz Ulewicz, CEO and Founder of FOTOhub. "AWS gave us the most complete foundation — from Bedrock's model marketplace to GPU compute that scales on demand. For a platform that orchestrates hundreds of AI models simultaneously, that infrastructure depth isn't optional. It's existential."

FOTOhub currently integrates models from Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, Stability AI, Meta, Amazon, and several other providers — alongside its own proprietary models (IDA Audio, IDA Music) — all routed through a unified orchestration layer running on AWS. The platform handles image generation, video production, audio synthesis, music creation, 3D rendering, and automated content pipelines, with a full Cloud & Console panel giving developers programmatic access to the entire stack.

What Creative OS Means

FOTOhub positions itself not as another AI tool, but as an operating system for creative work. The platform consolidates capabilities that would otherwise require separate subscriptions to tools like Canva, Runway, ElevenLabs, Suno, and others — into one workspace with shared storage, unified billing, and composable AI pipelines.

Key capabilities powered by the AWS partnership:

The Road Back

Transparency matters. Over the past two months, FOTOhub's development slowed significantly due to a health emergency. CEO Mateusz Ulewicz was hospitalized and unavailable for approximately eight weeks. During that period, the platform continued serving existing users, but product development and community engagement paused.

"I won't pretend those months didn't happen," Ulewicz said. "They did. We lost momentum. But the technology kept running, the users kept creating, and the team kept the lights on. Now we're back, and we're building faster than before."

The AWS partnership played a direct role in enabling the comeback. As an AWS Portfolio Startup Tier Company, FOTOhub receives dedicated cloud credits, technical advisory support, and direct access to AWS engineering teams — giving the company runway to scale its GPU infrastructure and AI model access without immediate capital pressure.

What Comes Next

FOTOhub is preparing several announcements for Q3 2026:

Thank You to AWS

We want to acknowledge AWS directly. The AWS Startups team didn't just provide credits — they provided guidance on architecture, introductions to relevant teams, and the kind of support that helps a small team in Warsaw compete globally. Programs like AWS Activate and the AWS Portfolio Company designation give startups like ours credibility and resources that would otherwise take years to build independently.

FOTOhub is proof that you can build a globally competitive AI platform from Central Europe with the right infrastructure partner.
