FOTOhub Secures $2.3M Follow-On Investment from DGE3 to Accelerate Global Expansion
DGE3 deploys additional $2.3M into FOTOhub, bringing total committed capital to $5.0M. The investment fuels international expansion across DACH, MENA, and North America, and scales the team from 24 to 35 engineers.
DGE3 Increases Commitment to $5.0M as FOTOhub Outperforms 18-Month Plan in Four Months
FOTOhub today announces a $2.3 million follow-on investment from DGE3, the European venture capital firm with offices in Warsaw, Prague, and Abu Dhabi. This brings DGE3's total committed capital in FOTOhub to $5.0 million — one of the largest single-company commitments in the fund's history.
The follow-on comes just four months after DGE3 led FOTOhub's $5.1M Seed round in February 2026. According to DGE3 Managing Partner Dmitri Evanov, the deployment was triggered by FOTOhub's performance exceeding every projection underwritten at the Seed stage.
Growth Metrics That Triggered the Investment
The data behind the decision reflects accelerating momentum across all key performance indicators:
- User base: FOTOhub crossed 750,000 registered users in June 2026, adding 150,000 net new users in nine weeks with paid acquisition representing less than 10% of signups.
- Revenue: Monthly recurring revenue has grown 4.2x since the Seed close. Paid conversion rate now exceeds 9.5%, up from 6.3% at initial investment. Net revenue retention remains above 145%.
- International traction: Organic signups from outside Poland and CEE now represent 38% of new registrations, with strongest corridors in Germany, United Kingdom, United States, and UAE — without international marketing spend.
- Enterprise pipeline: Five enterprise contracts closed in four months across Europe and the Gulf, representing committed annual contract value that exceeded the Seed round's 18-month revenue assumptions.
Capital Allocation: International Expansion and Team Growth
The $2.3M is earmarked for two growth constraints identified by the founding team:
International Expansion
FOTOhub's platform supports 29 languages and orchestrates language-agnostic AI models across culturally universal creative workflows. The expansion plan targets three corridors:
- DACH and United Kingdom (Q3 2026): Highest-density creator markets in Europe outside CEE, where FOTOhub already has meaningful organic traction.
- MENA (Q4 2026): DGE3's Abu Dhabi office is facilitating introductions to enterprise buyers, media companies, and government digital transformation programs across UAE and Saudi Arabia.
- North America (Q1 2027): Enterprise-led entry targeting agencies and media companies evaluating multi-model creative platforms.
Team Scaling
Engineering has grown from 14 at Seed to 24 today. The follow-on funds expansion to 35 by end of Q3 2026, with hires concentrated in ML infrastructure, enterprise product management, and international growth leads.
Competitive Position: Multi-Model Creative Orchestration
FOTOhub has built what no incumbent or single-purpose tool has achieved: a unified orchestration layer across 200+ AI models, five product tiers from free creative workspace to enterprise software, and retention metrics indicating genuine workflow replacement. The platform consolidates capabilities that would otherwise require separate subscriptions across image generation, video production, audio synthesis, 3D rendering, automation pipelines, and cloud GPU infrastructure — all powered by Amazon Web Services.
What Comes Next
The formal Series A process begins in Q4 2026. Based on current trajectory, FOTOhub expects significant interest from European and US growth-stage funds, as well as strategic investors in the AI infrastructure space.
For creators: FOTOhub continues expanding its free tier with new capabilities shipping weekly — now supporting over 200 AI models across image, video, audio, and 3D.
For enterprises: organizations producing content at scale can reach the FOTOhub enterprise team through the platform at fotohub.app.
FOTOhub is no longer an early-stage bet. It is a growth-stage company that happens to be four months old as a funded entity. The velocity of execution, the product depth, and the market response have exceeded anything in our portfolio history. We are doubling down because the data demands it.
