Seedance 2.5 is coming to FOTOhub, and Seedream just became unlimited
ByteDance Seed's Seedance 2.5 joins the FOTOhub video generator within days of BytePlus opening API access. Seedream 5.0 and Seedream 4.5 already generate at zero credit cost for every Professional and Business subscriber, inside a daily fair-use allowance.
Summary
In the next few days FOTOhub will unlock Seedance 2.5, ByteDance Seed's newly announced video model, inside the same video generator our users already work in. Alongside that rollout, FOTOhub is confirming a change that is already live today: Seedream 5.0 and Seedream 4.5, two of the strongest image models in our catalogue, now generate at zero credit cost for every Professional and Business subscriber. Not cheaper. Not discounted. Free, within a daily fair-use allowance generous enough that a working creative professional will not notice it exists.
What Seedance 2.5 actually changes
ByteDance Seed announced Seedance 2.5 on July 31, 2026, and the jump from the 2.0 generation is not a minor version bump dressed up for a press release. A single generation pass now produces up to thirty seconds of footage, double the fifteen seconds Seedance 2.0 delivers, and the model plans the entire shot before it renders a single frame. That planning step is the detail worth sitting with: instead of stitching together short clips and hoping the seams do not show, Seedance 2.5 commits to camera movement, lighting and pacing across the full thirty seconds up front, then executes it in one pass. Further rounds extend a shot to several minutes without losing continuity.
The reference system grew even more sharply. Seedance 2.0 accepts nine images, three video clips and three audio samples per request, fifteen references in total. Seedance 2.5 takes thirty images, ten video clips and ten audio samples, fifty references in one call. In practice that means a cast of characters, a set of props, a location and a sound palette can all be locked in a single request, and nothing drifts in appearance halfway through a take.
Two capabilities have no equivalent in the 2.0 family at all. The first is audio generated in the same pass as the picture, not bolted on afterward, so a drum hit lands exactly on the frame where the stick meets the snare. The second is timestamp-level editing: name the second where something needs to change, describe the fix, and get back a revised version without re-rendering the rest of the take, sound included. For anyone who has waited on a full re-render to fix one client note, that second capability alone changes how a production day is planned.
Seedance 2.5 also introduces staging on untextured 3D blockouts, letting a creator set camera position, character poses and motion paths on plain geometry before the model dresses the scene in a finished shot. ByteDance Seed has not yet published resolution or aspect ratio figures for 2.5, and FOTOhub will confirm the exact limits available on our infrastructure on the model's launch day rather than guess at them now.
When it lands, and what already works today
Seedance 2.5 reaches international users through the Dreamina app and the BytePlus API, and BytePlus has described API access as coming in the near term. FOTOhub adds the model to its video generator the same day that access opens, as one more entry in the model list our users already know, with no new interface to learn and no project migration required.
Until then, the full Seedance 2.0 family keeps shooting inside FOTOhub exactly as it does today: Pro, Fast and Mini, all with fifteen-second generations, native audio, multi-reference input, footage editing, and 4K masters on the Pro tier. None of that pauses while 2.5 is in rollout, and Seedance 2.0 remains the lower cost option per second of footage once 2.5 arrives.
Seedream 5.0 and Seedream 4.5, now free on Professional and Business
This is the part of the announcement that changes what a subscription costs to actually use, and it is live in FOTOhub today, not a forward-looking promise. Seedream 5.0 and Seedream 4.5, two BytePlus image models that sit among the strongest in our entire catalogue for photorealism, text rendering and prompt consistency, no longer draw from a subscriber's credit balance on the Professional and Business plans. Every generation on those two models is billed at zero credits.
Zero credit cost is not the same as no ceiling at all, and we would rather state the real number than let a customer discover a surprise later. Professional carries a combined daily allowance of sixty free generations across the two models, and Business carries two hundred and fifty. Both numbers reset every day, and both sit well above what a working designer, photographer or content team generates in a normal day. A subscriber who exceeds the daily allowance simply falls back to paying the standard per-image rate for that model until the next reset, nothing else on the account is affected.
GPT Image 1.5 receives the identical treatment on the same two plans, with its own daily allowance of twenty generations on Professional and eighty on Business, so a Professional or Business subscriber is working with three of the strongest image models available anywhere at no marginal cost for the overwhelming majority of real usage.
One model is deliberately excluded from this change. Seedream 5.0 PRO, the higher tier variant with expanded editing and multi-image fusion, continues to bill normally. We are naming that exclusion directly rather than letting a customer find out by hitting a charge: the free tier covers Seedream 5.0 (the model most users reach for by default) and Seedream 4.5, not the PRO variant.
Why we are doing both of these at the same time
Seedance 2.5 and the Seedream change are separate pieces of news that land in the same announcement because they come from the same relationship. FOTOhub's access to the Seedream and Seedance families runs through a direct technical and commercial partnership with BytePlus, ByteDance's enterprise cloud and AI division, and that partnership is what makes it viable to give away generations on two of the industry's strongest image models rather than metering every single one.
For a Professional or Business subscriber, the practical result is straightforward. The subscription now covers a materially larger share of daily image work at the plan price already being paid, and video capability is about to take its biggest single jump since Seedance entered the platform. Neither change requires switching plans, migrating a project, or learning a new tool. Seedream's free tier is active now inside the existing image generator, and Seedance 2.5 will appear in the existing video generator the day BytePlus opens access.
What comes next
FOTOhub will confirm Seedance 2.5's exact resolution options, aspect ratios and credit pricing the moment the model is available on our infrastructure, rather than publishing numbers that could shift before launch. Until that day, Seedance 2.0 Pro, Fast and Mini remain the fastest path to a finished shot, and Seedream 5.0 and Seedream 4.5 are already generating at zero cost for Professional and Business subscribers who want to put the change to work today.
