Seedream 5.0 PRO - now live in FOTOhub

Yesterday we integrated ByteDance's new image generation model into FOTOhub - Seedream 5.0 PRO. This is the fifth generation of the flagship image model, bringing a massive quality leap and entirely new capabilities that no previous model in this family offered.

What's new in Seedream 5.0 PRO

Seedream 5.0 PRO is the flagship version with an advanced "deep-thinking" mode - before generating an image, the model performs multi-step reasoning on the prompt, allowing it to correctly interpret even very complex instructions.

• Resolution up to 2048x2048px in native render (no upscaling)
• Text rendering in 14 languages - captions, logos, labels are sharp and correct
• "Deep-thinking" mode - multi-step reasoning before generation, better interpretation of complex prompts

• Up to 10 reference images in editing mode

Seedream 5.0 PRO vs Lite

ByteDance offers two versions of the 5.0 model:

PRO (available in FOTOhub): flagship model with full deep-thinking, dense layout control, support for complex multi-object prompts, cinematic quality. Built for professionals and creators.

Lite: faster, cheaper, more beginner-friendly. High prompt fidelity but without advanced reasoning. Also available in FOTOhub as "Seedream 5.0".

• Seedream 3.0 (April 2025) - native 2K, 4-8x acceleration

We're simultaneously preparing the integration of the successor to Seedance 2.0 - the Seedance 2.5 model, which ByteDance presented on June 23 at the Volcano Engine FORCE conference in Beijing. Public API is planned for July 16.

What Seedance 2.5 brings:

ByteDance partnership - results

Our partnership with ByteDance (BytePlus) has been running since the beginning of the year and producing very interesting results. Seedream and Seedance models turned out to be among the most frequently chosen tools by our users. Main reasons: fast response time, high quality, and excellent price-to-quality ratio.

The weekend promotional event for Seedance + Seedream in June was a huge success. Users generated thousands of video clips and images in studio quality. Community feedback was overwhelmingly positive - especially from ad creators, content creators, and social media agencies.
