Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install anything?
No. The editor runs in your browser. Sign in with a free FOTOhub account and your decks are saved to it.
Which slide sizes can I use?
16:9 at 1920 × 1080, 4:3 at 1024 × 768 and a vertical 1080 × 1920 format for phones, or any custom size you type in.
What uses credits?
Only AI: replies from the AI assistant and the images it generates. Designing, animating and exporting PNG, JPG, WebP or PDF use none.
Can I use my brand colours and fonts?
Yes. The brand kit holds your logos, colours and heading and body fonts, and can pick colours from the photos on your slides.
How do I get the deck to other people?
Export it as one PDF with a page per slide (from Starter) or as images, or send a live editing link so others can work on it with you.
What if I break something?
Undo it, or open the version history and restore an earlier autosave or a version you saved by hand.
Can I use my own photos and fonts?
Upload photos and logos from your computer and set your text in any of the 41 built-in fonts. Uploading your own font files is not available yet.
What can't it do yet?
It does not write PowerPoint or Keynote files, and there are no speaker notes. Exported files are still images, so animations stay in the editor, and PDF text cannot be selected. Image formats export one slide at a time.
